A wall. A village behind it. And a field that fills with red soldiers until you can't see the grass.
You walk the wall and you shoot. There is no aiming button — you aim by moving, so every shot is a decision about where to stand. When the field is clear you climb down and work: chop wood, cut stone, and lay the wall back up where it fell.
Seven days
Each day is longer and heavier than the last, and each one brings something you haven't seen before. Drummers who make the men around them run. Powder carriers who take a dozen of their own with them when they fall. Shield walls that swallow your bullets. Riders. Musketeers who stop out of range and shoot back. And on some days, a giant who takes four swings to bring a section down.
Hold all seven and the village stands.
Features
- Build what you like: three foundations behind the wall and four things to put on them — tower, ballista, catapult, or a mage who calls lightning down the length of the crowd
- Hire the village: villagers move in each morning; pay them to chop, quarry, build, load your machines or stand on the wall with a rifle
- Spend it on something: the smith sharpens whatever is in your hands, the powder maker sells grenades, iron shot and poison, and a bounty hunter waits by the corner tower
- Thousands of soldiers on screen at once
- Portrait, one hand, plays offline
When the village falls you start over on day one — knowing more than you did.
